State Fund offers numerous advantages to lower your net cost of insurance up-front.

Group Discount-ACIC members who qualify for State Fund's group insurance program can receive an additional up-front discount on their workers' compensation premium.

Claims Free Discount- an additional savings on the insurance for smaller employers who demonstrate the ability to control claims costs and provide and maintain a safe work environment. This discount is even available to new business accounts when they provide their experience with a prior carrier.

Merit Rating Plans-provides a mechanism for recognizing an employer's individual risk characteristics that are not otherwise reflected in the base rate. Merit Rating may reward an employer's favorable individual risk characteristics, such as return to work programs and management-endorsed safety programs.

Safety Service

A good safety record is the best way to control your workers' compensation costs. State Fund works closely with ACIC to provide interpretation of safety rules and regulations, analysis of accident trends, inspections for current hazards, and a summary of your workplace accidents and their costs. In addition, State Fund provides free safety materials that help you to develop and maintain an accident prevention program.

Claims Reporting Center

If you've got an injured employee you can receive immediate assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with experienced State Fund Claims Reporting personnel that can direct you to the nearest approved medical facility while processing the initial paperwork at 1-888-222-3211.

Medical Provider Network

The State Fund Medical Provider Network (MPN) provides access to a wide range of approved physicians for the treatment of work-related illnesses and injuries. As a result, ACIC members can benefit from medical-cost and policy-premium reductions when they channel their injured employees to MPN physicians for treatment of on-the-job injuries or illnesses.

Fraud Prevention

State Fund maintains a Special Investigation Unit that works closely with district attorneys throughout the state to investigate and prosecute all types of suspected fraudulent workers' compensation insurance activities including claimant, attorney, physician, and employer fraud.
